SANTOR Hybrid power amplifier
The Santor is a hybrid power amplifier with external power supply handcrafted by Claus Jäckle in Germany. It features a unique zero-feedback topology, a triode vacuum tube voltage gain stage, and a high-current MOSFET Class A output stage.
Design and Technical Specifications
Topology: Two-stage amplification with zero global or local negative feedback.
Tube Complement: Uses 6922/E88CC tubes for input gain alongside ECC99 driver tubes.
Output Stage: Six push-pull MOSFETs per channel biased heavily into Class A.
Power Output: 50 WPC into 8 ohms; 100 WPC into 4 ohms (strappable to mono).
